Course: 4 units, 16 guides

About 3 minutes each with 3 questions. Earn a star for each first-try answer and a +10 XP bonus for finishing

Unit 1 · Ledger basics

0/4
  1. 1How does the XRP Ledger work?A ledger closes every 3–5 seconds, fees are burned, and every wallet keeps a reserve.+25 XP
  2. 2What should I look at in a ledger explorer? There are three explorers, XRPScan, Bithomp and XRPL Explorer, and they all show the same ledger. In any of them, check the result code, delivered amount, where the label comes from, and whether it is an internal move.+30 XP
  3. 3Who labels wallets, and how?The ledger has no owner names. Labels come from evidence such as addresses an exchange publishes itself, deposit and withdrawal records, and links between wallets. Weak evidence means "likely", not fact.+25 XP
  4. 4How do I spot fake tokens and scam transfers?Same name, different issuer means a different token. Links in surprise micro-payments and requests to "verify your wallet" are almost always scams.+25 XP

Unit 2 · Reading big moves

0/4
  1. 5Does unlocked escrow get sold? One billion XRP unlocks monthly, but unused XRP is re-locked. Watch the net decrease, not the unlock.+25 XP
  2. 6Does XRP moving to an exchange mean selling? Not necessarily. There are three common misreads.+25 XP
  3. 7Is it risky if the top 100 wallets hold 30%?Wallets are not people. Take out exchanges and escrow before judging.+25 XP
  4. 8What does it mean when a long-dormant wallet wakes up?A big wallet that has not sent anything for years draws attention when it moves. Whether it sold or just moved depends on where the XRP went.+25 XP

Unit 3 · Where the money flows

0/4
  1. 9How should I read RLUSD supply?Supply rises as dollars come in and falls as they are redeemed. Check which chain holds how much.+25 XP
  2. 10What does "can’t convert" mean in the FX simulation? It means almost no orders for that token on the public market, not that the token is unused on the XRP Ledger.+25 XP
  3. 11How can I tell if XRP is actually being used more?Look at what happened on the ledger, not the price: successful payments, new accounts, swaps routed through XRP and institutional holdings, compared over like-for-like periods.+25 XP
  4. 12What are AI agent payments (x402)?A way for AI programs to pay for a web service on the spot. On the XRP Ledger it settles in RLUSD or XRP within seconds.+25 XP

Unit 4 · Rules and markets

0/4
  1. 13When does a new feature go live?80% of recommended validators must support it continuously for two weeks. Dipping below 80% resets the clock.+25 XP
  2. 14How does a bill become law?In the US a bill must pass both chambers and be signed by the president; in Korea it goes through a standing committee, the Legislation and Judiciary Committee and the plenary, then promulgation. First check which "passed" the headline means.+25 XP
  3. 15How do I read the ETF and CME numbers?ETF figures are XRP actually bought and held; CME is open futures contracts. Different things.+25 XP
  4. 16How is the kimchi premium calculated? We compare Korean exchange prices with the global dollar price times the won–dollar rate.+25 XP

Today’s ledger quiz

0/3 · +5 XP each

Built fresh every day from real XRP Ledger numbers. New questions tomorrow.

1. How has RLUSD supply on the XRP Ledger changed versus a week ago?

2. Among features not yet active, which has the most support now?

3. About how much XRP is locked in Ripple’s escrow now?

This week’s challenge

+30 XP for all three

  • Answer on 5 days0/5
  • Get 9 daily ledger questions right0/9
  • Answer the daily question 4 times0/4

Resets every Monday (Korea time).

Today’s question

+5 XP

With 10 currencies, how many direct pairs are there?

Is this headline what it seems?

This week’s biggest XRP transfer: 46.3M

From an unlabeled wallet to an unlabeled wallet. Neither owner is known, so there is no basis for "a whale bought or sold".
